facebook friend lists and privacy settings redux

I have just finished updating two old posts about using friend lists in facebook and how to change the application’s default privacy settings so you stay in control of what other people see about you. the readers digest version:

create friend lists. especially if you have a lot of friends and multiple contexts (school, family, work, etc.), friend lists can help make sure you see the posts you want/need to see.
make sure one of those lists is just people (your mom, your boss, your clients) who for one reason or another you do not want having access to your photo album of your night as a guest judge at ‘girls gone wild  boca edition’
